Opdrachtomschrijving
The professional will be part of an international and mixed team of civilians and military that maintains and develops an enterprise application to reflect and support the core business of the European Air Transport Command (EATC). The software is called "Management of European Air Transport" (MEAT) and runs as a web-based IT-service for in-house and external users from within a classified and secured network environment.
The individual to be hired will support documentation efforts to substantiate and properly prepare a Dutch national security accreditation of the application as mentioned before. Given the age, extend and level-of-detail of the currently available product documentation, certain implemented requirements/ functionalities aren't reflected yet in the desired way.
Main tasks are:
- "document reality"
- review and assess existing application views/ screens/ components/ functionalities
- verify existing extend and level-of-detail of corresponding documentation parts
- where applicable, create new or enrich existing requirements to document the "as-is"
- work closely together with other team members fulfilling business analyst, developer or test engineer roles to retrieve the (missing) "information- to-be-elicitated" as broad and complete as possible
- support other analytical, development and testing activities

Functie eisen
- support migration of an enterprise web application to qualifiy for higher security levels. The documentation of requirements is to be renewed/ expanded, whereas large parts of the existing documentation can be reused. Most signifcant enhancements to be include/ considered are the implementation of a) improved role-based access control and b) data sanitization control mechanisms, which meet privacy and security requirements. Documentation is to be done by using the tools and forms already predefined by EATC or NATO.

- Reading (B2) + Writing (B2) + Speaking (B2) + Listen (B2).
- Experience in writing/ rewriting software development-related user requirements from different requestor level perspectives - 4 jaar
Functie wensen
- Experience in designing and coding of web-based enterprise applications in Java
- Experience in writing unit tests
- Expereince with tools like ATLASSIAN Confluence, Jira or equivalent alternatives
